The outline of the Logo of ECM22 shows the schematic contour of Hungary. The logo is hallmarked by the twin crystal of staurolite. Its structure* was determined in 1929 by István Náray-Szabó founder of X-ray crystallography in Hungary. As the symbols of Budapest, in the background there are the Liberty Bridge crossing the river Danube and St. Gellert Hill with the Liberty statue on the top. This is the panorama of the city which can be seen from the venue of the conference.
